Peterlee Triathlon 2010 - CANCELLED

Unfortunately the Peterlee Triathlon is unable to go ahead due to work scheduled on the leisure centre pool in September.

We have about 25 entries so far, which will be refunded, but due to the way we organise the event we have already paid for non refundable items and equipment for the race. I have looked at what we have spent and I’m able to offer a £15 refund to all those who have entered and offer them half price entry in next years race or I can simply carry your entry over to next years race which will be at the begining of April 2011.

If people aren’t happy about this I’m very sorry but this is an unexpected incident as the work was due to take place in April and expected to be finished in July. Apologies for the short fall in refunds but the offer I have made is the best that we can do.

I will be contacting all those who have paid by email within the next week. The plan is to get the race back to the beginning of the season next year, provisional dates are 3rd or 10th April. If anybody has any questions please do not hesitate to contact me –
